Mother's Day Tea

The students and I were so excited to have our moms come into our classroom for our Mother's Day

Tea.  The children worked very hard to prepare many special gifts for their moms and enjoyed serving

them cookies and tea.  It was a day we will never forget!  We thank God for all of our wonderful moms!

Each student drew a portrait of their mom and the moms had to guess which portrait was theirs.

We enjoyed having Mrs. Alexander come and read a story to our class.  

Thank you, Mr. Gosselin, for coming in and reading Narnia.  The students loved it.  They especially enjoyed learning and singing the Miami Dolphin Fight song.

Thank you, Mrs. McMullen, for reading a fun book about a whale and then making a sock craft of a whale with the kids!

Ice Cream Scoop Book Reports

The children did an awesome job presenting their Ice Cream Scoop Book Report.  I am so proud of how well the children are reading and writing.
