Mission Possible

   The students were excited to have Mrs. Gilles and Mr. and Mrs. Barnes come to our class on Wednesday to introduce themselves as our Mission Parents for this year.  They taught the students the mission that God has for all of us.  That mission is to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).  They also introduced the missionary that our class will be supporting.  His name is Tom Schafer and he is located in the Bahamas.  We are looking forward to learning more about Mr. Schafer and praying for his ministry in the Bahamas. We are so thankful that Mrs. Gilles and Mr. and Mrs. Barnes have committed to being our Mission Parents this year!

Ipads and Learning

     Our class enjoyed using iPads during our Math lesson today.  Students practiced their addition facts by playing a variety of Math games.  Some students took an AR test on their iPad too!  Our library media center allows teachers to check out a set of iPads to use in the classroom.  We plan to check them out often so that we can enhance our learning!
