Valentine's Day Party
We had a great time as we celebrated Valentine's Day! We began our day with a delicious breakfast that consisted of heart shaped waffles, yogurt, and fresh fruit. We made hats, did a craft, played games, and centered our Math lesson around heart shaped candy. The students especially enjoyed handing out and receiving Valentine's Day cards. Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers who sent items in for our party and for those who helped with our party.

Our Field Trip to Flamingo Gardens
We enjoyed our field trip to Flamingo Gardens. The day was filled with fun and excitement. The students began their field trip with a tram ride through the wetland area and groves around Flamingo Gardens. Next, they planted a small little palm that they got to take home. Then they went on a Treasure Hunt looking for many interesting things. They saw flamingos, alligators, panthers, and peacocks! They even saw a variety of native birds to Florida and they got to feed them by hand. Our field trip ended with lunch under the pavilion. We thank God for giving us a wonderful experience at Flamingo Gardens.
