Fish Habitat Experiment

Our class enjoyed our Fish Unit in Science.  They especially loved performing a Science experiment on Fish Habitats.  Thank you Mrs. Oblinger, our class Science Mom, for coming in and doing the experiment with our class!

Mrs. Oblinger even brought in a real fish and showed the class
how to set up a habitat for it.

1st Quarter AR Celebration

Congratulations to all of the students in our class for making their AR goal for the 1st quarter!  Everyone was able to participate in our AR Celebration.  I am so proud of each student for how well they are progressing with their reading.  Thank you Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Johnson for helping with our AR Cupcake Decorating Party!  The students had a blast!

International Day

We had a wonderful time celebrating International Day.

We began our day with an exciting parade.

They enjoyed playing a fun Australian ball game.

The students got to feel some sheep's wool and kangaroo fur.

They even made boomarangs!

The best part is that the students learned that Jesus wants us to go to all nations and share
the gospel of Jesus.
Thank you to Mrs. Oblinger and Mrs. Cintron for sharing a Power Point on Australia
with all of the First Grade Classes!!!

Mrs. Keller's Birthday Celebration

Thank you to my wonderful students and parents for making me feel so loved and special on my birthday.  I began my day with a decorated door and balloons around my desk.  We celebrated with yummy donuts and muffins.  The moms even bought me a Dunkin Donuts coffee!!!  Then the students gave me beautiful birthday cards.  Thank you for all of the wonderful goodies, gifts, and cards.  Thank you also, to all of the moms who put so much effort into making this a memorable day for me.
