Mother's Day Tea

Our Mother's Day Tea was a day we will never forget.  The students and I loved having our moms come into our classroom for our Mother's Day Tea.  The children worked very hard to prepare many special gifts and enjoyed serving their moms muffins and tea. We also played a game where each mom had to guess which portrait (that was drawn by their child) was theirs.  We ended by watching a memorable picture slideshow and singing a special Mother's Day song.  We thank God for all of our wonderful moms!

Bowling Party

      Our class was so happy that we came in first place for having the highest amount of donations for the Golf Tournament.  Thank you for contributing to this awesome benefit.  Proceeds go towards CCA's technology, athletics, fine arts, and tuition assistance programs.  We all had a wonderful time bowling at Sawgrass Lanes!

Field Trip to Flamingo Gardens

    Our field trip to Flamingo Gardens was a blast!  The day was filled with fun and excitement.  The students began their field trip by planting a small little palm that they got to take home.  Next, they went on a Treasure Hunt looking for many interesting things.  They also went on a tram ride through the wetland area and groves around Flamingo Gardens.  They saw flamingos, alligators, panthers, and peacocks!  They even saw a variety of native birds to Florida and they got to feed them by hand.  Our field trip ended with lunch under the pavilion. We thank God for giving us a wonderful day at Flamingo Gardens.
