Flamingo Gardens Field trip

Our field trip to Flamingo Gardens was so much fun!  The day was filled with fun and excitement.  The students went on a Treasure Hunt looking for many interesting natural things.  They also went on a tram ride through the wetland area and groves around Flamingo Gardens.   They saw flamingos, panthers, alligators, and peacocks!  They even saw a variety of native birds to Florida. They also planted a small little palm that they got to take home. Our field trip ended with lunch under the pavilion. We thank God for giving us a wonderful day at Flamingo Gardens.

Insect Research Project

Our class did an awesome job with their Insect Research Projects!  I am so proud of each student for how well they presented and explained important facts about their insect. Way to go students!

100th Day of School

We had a wonderful 100th Day of School Celebration!  It was fun watching students come to school wearing their hats with 100 things on them.  Our whole day was centered around the number 100.  The students made a necklace with 100 Fruit Loops, read 100 words, answered 100 math facts, counted by 2's, 5's, and 10's to 100, did 100 exercises, wrote about what they would do if they had 100 dollars, and made a trail mix with 100 food items.  They even drew a picture of what they would look like if they were 100 years old!  It has been a privilege and honor to teach these precious children for 100 days.

Winter Day

Winter Day was a fun day for our class!  The students enjoyed drinking hot chocolate and using their imagination by pretending to ice skate around the classroom.  They even had a snowball fight!
